The RapidShare Manager 2 allows users to simultaneously download files and can store items as large as 2 GBs. The Manager 2 also allows all the basic functions a user expects, such as file renaming, editing and moving. The RapidShare website also includes a link checker that verifies whether the user’s file URL is still working. The RapidShare Upload 2 Me feature is intended for website owners who want to incorporate the technology into their websites. The system allows visitors to upload files directly through the user’s website. Upload 2 Me sends an email notification to the user to let them know that one of their website visitors has uploaded a file.

RapidShare RapidPro is the applications premium account and includes up to 150 GBs of traffic per 30 days, unlimited storage duration for unused files, up to 50 GBs of secure storage, parallel downloads, maximum upload size of 2 GBs, resume feature, TrafficShare direct downloads, high speed downloads and no wait time between file downloads. RapidPro uses a prepaid system that requires the purchase of credits (called Rapids). 500 Rapids costs around $8, 1,000 Rapids costs around $14, 2,000 Rapids costs around $30, 6,000 costs around $85 and 20,000 Rapids costs around $275.
